FAYETTEVILLE – The Fayetteville Lions Club Ham & Bean Supper brought out the community Saturday night to support the efforts of the Lions Club.
The event was held at the Fayetteville Baptist Church fellowship hall, which marked the first public event for the Fayetteville Lions Club in over two years due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event focused on raising funds for the upkeep of Fayetteville Lions Park in Fayetteville on State Road 158, with two ball diamonds, a barn for event rentals, and playground equipment. This event also marked the last day for sign up for baseball and softball.
There is still a need for volunteers to work the games, umpires, coaches and concession stands during the upcoming season.
