Walmart’s asset protection stops Oolitic women from stealing

BEDFORD – An Oolitic woman was arrested Friday afternoon after Bedford Police officers responded to a report of theft inside Walmart. 

When officers arrived they found the store’s asset protection had detained Audrianna Manning who is also known as Audrianna Caudill.

According to asset protection Manning had gone to a self-checkout register and placed items into a bag without scanning them. She was detained by store employees as she was leaving the store.

Manning admitted she had shoplifted approximately $50 worth of merchandise.

Police say Manning failed to pay for items totaling $54.66 before tax. 

She was issued a summons to appear in court on a theft charge on April 12, 2022 at 1:30 p.m.
