Deloris Marie Pridemore, 85, of Mitchell, formerly of Huron, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022, at Indiana University Health Bedford Hospital.
Born March 28, 1936, in French Lick, she was the daughter of Delbert and Mildred “Marie” (Kimble) Hopper. She married Robert Linza Pridemore on August 20, 1954, and he preceded her in death on March 26, 1995.
Deloris was a homemaker and a member of the Huron Baptist Church. She was a cheerleader, class secretary, and a 1954 graduate of Huron High School. Her family was her life and she enjoyed being with her family and taking long country cruises.
Survivors include her children, Angela (Charles) Blanton of Mitchell, Robert D. Pridemore of Mitchell, Annette Pridemore of Mitchell; grandchildren, Joni (Darin) Wallot, Erica (Nick) Doss, Grace (Bobby) Bunch, Bobby (Elizabeth) Blanton, Tim Pridemore, Nate (Shannon); Pridemore, and Nick (Merry) Pridemore; 25 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren
Her parents; husband; son, Delbert L. Pridemore; grandson, Johnny Johnson; and brother, Bob Hopper, preceded her in death.
The funeral service will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 15, in the Memorial Chapel of Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center with her grandson, Dr. Nick Pridemore officiating. The burial will be in Huron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday and from 9:30 a.m. until the service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
