Carolyn Jane “Janie” Robinson, 59, formerly of Mitchell and Bedford, Indiana, passed away at her home at 2:26 p.m. March 7, 2022.
Born September 19, 1962, in Bedford, she was the daughter of Charles and Karen (Tuddy) Turner.
She was a registered nurse and worked in Bedford and Paoli hospitals, nursing homes, and home health most of her life. She loved caring for others. She was a member of the Gospel Lighthouse Assembly in Bedford, Indiana. She traveled to Texas once to pray for a little boy with cancer. She loved horses and raised several. She was a homemaker, sister, mother, daughter, aunt, grandmother, and friend to many. Her biggest joy in life was her grandbabies.
Survivors include her companion, Doyle “Poncho” Mullins of Richmond, Kentucky; daughter, Cynthia Terry of Campbellsburg; son, Samuel Terry of Richmond, Kentucky; brother, Mike Turner of Campbellsburg; sister, Lisa Taylor of Orleans; grandchildren, Megan (Chris) Terry of Salley, South Carolina, Brianna Carver of Campbellsburg, Danica Tillett of Mitchell, Brayden Tillett of Mitchell, Cadance Tillett of Mitchell, Dylan Mullins of Richmond, Kentucky, Gage Phillips of Richmond, Kentucky, J. J. Mullins of Richmond, Kentucky; great-granddaughter, Elodie Tillett of Mitchell; nieces and nephews, Charlene Dezarn of Manchester, Kentucky, Shirley Turner of Manchester, Kentucky, Michael Turner of Bedford, Indiana, Jeremiah Turner of Bedford, Josh Turner of Mitchell, Brooklyn McNeely of Orleans, Dayton Taylor of Orleans
Her parents; brother, Charles Turner Jr.; and a niece, Karen “Toots” Henson, preceded her in death.
Graveside service will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, March 13th, at Mitchell Cemetery with Brother Nathan King officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 2:45 p.m. Sunday at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
