Commissioners grant Crossroads Church approval for an event at Harp Commons

BEDFORD – The Lawrence County Commissioners granted Crossroads Community Church permission to use the courthouse parking area on Thursday, June 30, 2022.

Pastor Lyndon Hopkins said they will be holding a service with special speaker Dr. Robert Jeffress. He is expecting between 3,000 to 5,000 people will be attending the event which will begin at 7 p.m.

Personnel from the church will be setting up at Harp Commons on that day between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m.

Church officials have approval from Lawrence County Emergency Management and a meeting is scheduled for March 18th with Bedford Mayor Sam Craig and Sheriff Mike Branham to address any additional questions or concerns.
