February 2022 update of the best available flood data has been completed

INDIANA – The February 2022 update of the Best Available Flood data has been completed. Data has been updated for the following counties, with specific updated stream(s) in parenthesis:

  • Brown (UNT Middle Fork Salt Creek – Brown #3)
  • Grant (UNT Mississinewa River  – Grant #4)
  • Hendricks (White Lick Creek Tributary #3)
  • Lake (UNT Turkey Creek)
  • LaPorte (Kemper Ditch)
  • Porter (Kemper Ditch)
  • Wells (Boyer Ditch)

In addition, the flood elevation point dataset included in the download for all counties has been switched to the version being shown on the new INFIP website.  This new dataset includes additional WSEL fields which will be populated as HUC10s are processed; a value of “0” indicates that the HUC10 has not yet been processed.
