New information about the Underground Railroad at Monroe Public Library

BLOOMINGTON – A partnership between the Indiana Department of Natural Resources and the Monroe Library will present new information about the Underground Railroad for everyone age 18 and older.

New leads about the Underground Railroad keep us engaged with oral history, and Jeannie R. Regan-Dinius, Director of Special Initiatives with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will discuss Indiana’s role in the Underground Railroad, talk about documenting stories, and offer suggestions to use in each Indiana county.
