BEDFORD – The Bedford Parks Department is in need of certified lifeguards for the 2022 swim season at John Lowery Municipal pool.
Certification classes with Luke Haskett will begin in March at the Bedford North Lawrence pool and will run through April for those who are interested in becoming a lifeguard. You must attend each class session in order to become certified.
The dates of each class are:
- March 5th
- March 12th
- April 2nd
- April 9th
- April 23rd
The cost for first-time certification will be $200 and you must be at least 15-years-old. Those needing to be recertified are only required to pay $65 and need to attend the last full day of class on April 23rd.
