MITCHELL– Marion Township Volunteer Fire Department responded to a report of a house fire Tuesday afternoon.
The fire was reported at 4:48 p.m. at 2378 State Road 60 East at the home of Terry Pemberton.
When firefighters arrived the fire was out.
“The fire was an incidental fire in the kitchen and Terry was able to extinguish the fire before we arrived on the scene,” said Assistance Chief Dane Fountain.
