INDIANA – The Indiana Manufacturers Board of Directors has named its 2022 Chair, Executive Committee, and Members.
Bill Champion, COO at Fratco, Inc., was named 2022 Chair.
Fratco, Inc., is a manufacturer of plastic corrugated pipes, located in Francesville, Indiana. Fratco has been in business since 1923 and is a member of the IMA Hall of Fame. After spending nearly 35 years in the insurance industry as a commercial risk manager Bill made the move to Fratco in 2011. Since that time, Bill has worked with Chris Overmyer (CEO/President of Fratco) and the Fratco team in expanding the companies presence from two to four locations in Indiana, Illinois, and Iowa.
Bill has also served one term as a Cass County Councilman and three terms as a City Councilman in Logansport, Indiana.
Bill served as President of the Logansport Plan Commission for 14 years and was a founding member of the Logansport/Cass County Economic Development Foundation. Currently, Bill is a member of the Pulaski County CDC.
Bill refereed high school and college basketball for 17 years and was an assistant basketball coach at Logansport High School for twelve seasons.
Bill and his wife Kim live on Lake Freeman, in Monticello, Indiana. They have seven children and seven grandchildren.
Bill holds a BS in Urban and Regional Studies from Ball State University.
