OOLITIC – A semi-driver hauling a load of pipes tore down power lines disabling the stoplight on State Road 37 at Main Street in Oolitic Monday night. The lights ended up in the roadway.
The Oolitic Police Department and Oolitic Fire Department responded to the incident at 6:38 p.m.
Traffic was stopped for a while in the southbound lanes.
Indiana Department of Transportation was contacted to make repairs to the light.
