Marian Carlton Bradley, 82, of Mitchell, passed away Monday, December 20, 2021, at Indiana University Health Bloomington Hospital.
Born February 5, 1939, in Fort Wayne, she was the daughter of Gene Shoemaker and Dorothy Marie (Gocke) Shoemaker Newman. She married James Richard Bradley on June 11, 1962, and they shared almost 60 years together.
Marian was a homemaker and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She was a very loving companion, mother, and friend. Marion enjoyed puzzles and playing cards.
Survivors include her husband, James Bradley of Mitchell; sons, Randy D. Bradley of New Whitely, Tom J. (Shelly) Bradley of Plainfield; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren and her sister, Gene Marie Day of San Diego, California
Her parents; son, Tim J. Bradley; and brother, Albert “Sonny” Newman, preceded her in death.
Cremation was chosen.
