BEDFORD – A Mitchell woman was arrested Friday after a Bedford Police officer went to a home in the 820 block of H Street to serve an arrest warrant on 44-year-old Zachary Wood, of Bedford for failure to appear.
Officers located Wood and 40-year-old Jessica King in a bedroom.
Wood was detained on the active warrant.
Officers located a plastic bag containing marijuana on the bed and multiple glass smoking devices on a bedside table.
Officers then detained King.
Both face charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.
