JACKSON CO. — Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews plan to close a section of S.R. 135 in Jackson County next week to replace a culvert. The road is scheduled to close south of Freetown from approximately 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, Nov. 8, and Tuesday, Nov. 9, weather permitting.
Access will be maintained for local residents during each closure. Thru traffic should use an alternate route. Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones. All work is weather-dependent and schedules are subject to change.
