Warren “Brett” Richardson

July 18, 1962 – October 22, 2021

Warren “Brett” Richardson, 59, of Loogootee, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021, at Memorial Hospital in Jasper.

Born on July 18, 1962, he was the son of Robert Richardson and Mary Rosalie (Tow), and Russ Hager. Brett was a member of the Antioch Christian Church in Washington. He was a graduate of Shoals High School. After High School, Brett attended the Police Academy and later went to work at the Martin County Sheriff’s Department.

Surviving are his mother, Mary Rosalie Hager; children, Andrew Heath (Jayme) Richardson, Portia (Zachary) Beden, Demi (Nathan) Chess, Tokala Richardson, and Dana (Aaron) Chipman; grandchildren, Ayva Richardson, Jaxon, Drew, Elizabeth, and Penelope Beden, Lillian, Emmitt, and Elliott Chess, and Caiden Chipman; one brother, Scott (Diane) Richardson; nieces, Natasha and Mikayla Richardson; great-niece, Alaya Richardson; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Richardson; and step-father, Russ Hager.

The funeral service will be at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, October 25, 2021, at the Queen-Lee Chapel of Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes, with Zachary Beden and Pastor Keith Meece officiating. Burial will follow in the Spring Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the service hour Monday at the funeral chapel.
