Approximately 150 attend Dinner on the Covered Bridge in Williams

WILLIAMS – The Williams Covered Bridge spans the White River in western Lawrence County and that makes it a beautiful place to be. The third annual Dinner at the Covered Bridge event was held Saturday bringing more than 150 attendees to the event.

The fundraiser event proceeds will be used to help the Williams Community Center with community projects.

The event started as the bicentennial project in 2018. The event has boasted as many as 350 people in attendance in the past.

Mark’s BBQ and Catering prepared and provided the delicious meal that was served at this event. Chris Smith assistant director of the Indiana Department of Natural Resources was the speaker during this year’s event.

“It turned out to be a beautiful day and great time this evening for this year’s event,” said Tonya Chastain Lawrence County Tourism Director.
