BEDFORD – A Bedford woman faces drug charges after Bedford Police officers went to a home in the 310 block of R Street Friday to arrest the woman on a warrant.

Shannon Rose

Police arrested 51-year-old Shannon Rose on charges of possession of meth, obstruction of justice, possession of marijuana and on a warrant for petition to revoke.

When officers went to the door they could detect the odor of marijuana emitting from the residence. They detained Rose.

Officers then obtained permission to search the home.

She told officers she had eaten a “joint” when she saw officers entering the home.

In her room officers discovered “roach clips”, a grinder and a glass tray containing crystal meth residue. They also found THC wax and a marijuana vape cartridge.
