SULLIVAN CO. – A caucus to select a new coroner for Sullivan County is set for Saturday, September 4 at the Mark Leo Reed Youth Center at 10 a.m.
The caucus is not open to the public.
Officials will replace former Sullivan County Coroner Tracy Tackett who died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound on August 15.
This was after Indiana State Police launched an investigation in connection to a video posted on Youtube that contained allegations about a potential criminal act committed by Tackett.
