BEDFORD – Bedford Police Department detectives are investigating a stabbing that was reported Tuesday.
Officers were called to the home at 10:56 p.m. in the 1610 block of R Street after a neighbor reported a domestic fight.
When officers arrived the injured man said he had been stabbed by his wife, said Chief Terry Moore.
“The victim was covered in blood from several stab wounds to the abdomen area,” said Chief Moore. “An ambulance arrived and transported him to the hospital for treatment. Officers entered the residence and spoke with the accused; she was also transported to the hospital.”
Detectives were then called to the home to collect evidence and start their investigation.
