Bloomington Parks and Recreation volunteer opportunities in August

BLOOMINGTON – The Bloomington Parks and Recreation Department is looking for volunteers for events during the month of August.

During the first week of August, Mills Pool closes for the summer, but it remains open two more days exclusively for our canine friends.

Happy pups take a dip in the pool while their owners can interact with local businesses that cater to pets.

Approximately 10 volunteers are needed to help monitor the pool, as well as assist with dog check-in. Volunteers must be 16 years old and up.

The event will be held on Wednesday, August 4th, and Thursday, August 5.
