Officers detained Snapp on the warrant.

Snapp then requested to smoke a cigarette and if the officer would allow him to take his medication with him to the jail. The officer allowed Snapp to smoke and went back inside the camper to Snapp’s bedroom to locate his medication. Snapp said the medication was on his bed.

But the officer couldn’t see the medication, so he moved a Piece of clothing that was laying on the bed and found a smoking device with meth residue in it. On a table, in the bedroom, the officer noticed a baggie that contained crystal meth.

The officer seized the two items.

When Snapp was asked about the items he told officers he didn’t know the drugs were in his bedroom and they were not his because he doesn’t do drugs anymore. He said the items had to belonged to Stapleton.

Snapp and Stapleton were charged with possession of meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.
