Purdue University Global launches global business offerings that include first-ever study abroad

WEST LAFAYETTE — A new Purdue University Global concentration and microcredential in global business will include the university’s first-ever study abroad program.

The four-course MBA/Master of Science in Management and Leadership sequence will begin in September and is designed to prepare students with the knowledge and skills to pursue career advancement in globally oriented management roles. The program will build knowledge in practical methodologies for the strategic management of people, resources, and processes within a global business environment.

The course sequence is as follows:

  • Global Business Environment.
  • Global Management and Leadership.
  • Global Operations.
  • Global Strategy.

Students who already have earned a degree may enroll in the associated Global Business microcredential.

Included in both the degree and microcredential offerings is a one-week study abroad program – a first for Purdue Global – scheduled to take place in March in London. This field experience also will be available virtually should students prefer that option.
