FAYETTEVILLE – During a brief meeting Tuesday night the Lawrence County Independent Schools received needed bids on the four bus routes.
The bids received Tuesday night include the following:
- Route #1: Sarah McKee submitted a bid of $295 a day for year 1, $300 a day,for year 2 and $305 a day for year 3.
- Route # 2 : Nicole Smith submitted a bid of $275 a day.
- Route Unspecified : Brian Miller submitted a bid of $260 a day.
- Route # 2: Robert Terry submitted a bid $240 a day.
LCIS will be contacting those who submitted bids.
LCIS will research communication system installation options for a base station and approximately 5 portable radios.
In addition, the installation of cameras for the buses will also be considered.
The next LCIS meeting will be July 29, at 7:00 p.m.
