When firefighters arrived they found light smoke coming from the home. Firefighters say the fire appeared to have started from an electrical problem.

The home is owned by Richard Jones.

“It is important to have multiple smoke detectors on multiple levels of your home. There was only one smoke detector in this residence at the time of the fire,” Chief Maze added.
