David Gene Tincher, 69, of Mitchell, passed away Wednesday, April 14, 2021, at Indiana University Health Hospice House in Bloomington.
Born June 22, 1951, in Mitchell, he was the son of William Clarence and Betty Rose (Moore) Tincher. He married Cynthia Alice O’Malley December 19, 1980.
He retired from RCA and had been employed at General Electric and Professional Golfcar Corporation.
David was a 1971 graduate of Mitchell High School, and a member of American Legion Post No. 250 and Sportsman’s Gun Club.
Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Tincher of Mitchell; children, Karrie Tincher of Bedford, Rick O’Malley of Tennessee, David O’Malley of Mitchell; several grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; sisters Genny Grider of Mitchell and Korki Tincher of Bedford
His parents and brother, Bill “Bopper” Tincher, preceded him in death.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday, April 18, at Chastain Funeral Home & Cremation Center.
