BEDFORD – A Bedford man was arrested on a warrant Wednesday, for violating a protective order in February.
According to a probable cause affidavit, a Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputy received an email from a woman who reported the violation on February 12, 2021.
The woman reported 37-year-old Leslie Smith violated the order on Feb. 5 when he messaged another person on Facebook to make contact with the woman on his behalf and posted threats.
Smith faces a charge of invasion of privacy.
