BEDFORD – One person was injured in a two-vehicle accident Thursday evening at 5th Street and Lincoln Avenue.
According to a Bedford Police report, 58-year-old Lesley Harkness, of Bedford, was traveling north on Lincoln Avenue in his 2003 Dodge Ram pickup towards the intersection at 5th Street. Harkness told police he was reaching for a bag of food and ran the red light and entered the intersection.
At the same time, 38-year-old Sadie Ann Miskuf, of Bedford, who had the green light drove her 2021 Jeep Gladiator into the intersection.
Both vehicles collided.
Harkness requested medical attention and was checked at the scene by an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.
Miskuf was not injured.
