Obituary: Roger D. Truelove

Roger D. Truelove, 76, of Loogootee, formerly of Shoals, passed away on December 12, 2020, at the Loogootee Health and Rehabilitation in Loogootee, Indiana.

He was born October 29, 1944, in Rutherford Township in Martin County, Indiana to Woodrow and Catherine (Burris) Truelove.

Roger was a graduate of Loogootee High School; a member of the Loogootee American Legion Post 120; and was a member of the Shoals Fraternal Order of Eagles #2442. He was self-employed in the trucking industry and owned and operated The Truelove Feed and Grain and Gun Shop.

Survivors include three sons, Scott Truelove, Tracy Truelove, and Tony Truelove all of Shoals; grandchildren, Austin Truelove, Toni Truelove, Shelby Truelove, Taylor Truelove, Nathan Truelove, Steven Truelove, Caleb Truelove, Abel Truelove, and Kianna Sorrells; great-grandchildren, Maxine Truelove, Preston Truelove, Kaylynn Truelove, Aurora Truelove, and Tucker Truelove; and two sisters, Cheryl Alvers of Evansville and Susie Holman of Shoals.

He is preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Lester, Harold, Larry, Terry, and Gerald Truelove; and one sister, Janet Chepers.

No services are planned. Burial will be at a later date in the Truelove Cemetery in Loogootee.

The Queen-Lee Chapel of the Thorne-George Family Funeral Homes is in charge of the arrangements.
