Robert Thomas Hoffman, Sr., 75, of Huron, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2020, at his residence.
Born July 18, 1945, in Hammond, he was the son of George W. and Zena Effie (Orsbourne) Hoffman. He married Lora Kay Eriks October 20, 1967.
Robert retired from Inland Steel. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and cats, and enjoyed mowing his lawn.
Survivors include his wife, Lora Hoffman of Huron; sons, Robert Thomas Hoffman, Jr. of Michigan City, James Ray Hoffman of Huron; eight grandchildren; eight great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Dolores Stotts of North Judson; Sally Henry of Washington State
His parents; daughter, Carol Dawn Hoffman; and siblings, George Hoffman, Betty Hoffman, and Donna Fuzy, preceded him in death.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 p.m. Monday, December 14, at Huron Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until the service.
