Bedford Firefighters Association Annual Golf Scramble October 10th

(BEDFORD) – The Bedford Fire Fighters Assocation will hold their annual golf scramble Saturday, October 10th.

The cost is $65 a person or $260 per four memeber team.

Your entry includes 18 holes of golf (scramble format), complimentary beverages, lunch, and an event t-shirt.

Registration will begin at 8 a.m. with tee-off at 9 a.m. with a shotgun start.

Enjoy a day of golf and activities with Bedford Local 728 firefighters at Otis Park Golf Course.

“This funds several of our charities throughout the year including Local Cancer Charities, The Tom Silvers Scholarship Fund, and our Kids Christmas for the children in our area,” said Dane Fountain, President of the Bedford Fire Fighters Association Local 728.

The awards presentation and meal will directly follow the golf tournament.

Bedford Fire Dept. is bringing Ladder 1 and raising the ladder over the 18th green to drop 400 numbered ping pong balls. The ball closest to the hole will win $1000.

Purchase a ping pong ball for $5 or 5 for $20.

While there grab a souvenir and help a cancer patient.

All proceeds from the Cancer Ball Charity go to local cancer charities. Grab a pink ball with the BFD patch for only $5. Pink balls will be sold on the day of the event.

The 50/50 Ball Drop and Cancer Ball Challenge will follow awards
