(WASHINGTON) – Rep. Jim Banks (IN-03) has signed Heritage Action’s Police Pledge, a pledge that calls on Americans to support police officers and oppose any legislative efforts to “defund the police.”
“The thin blue line is what stands between civilization and lawless chaos. I deeply appreciate the service law enforcement agents perform for our communities, keeping us safe as we sleep at night,” said Rep. Banks.
“Thanks to Heritage Action for leading this show of support for our nation’s police as anti-law enforcement rhetoric reaches a fever pitch,” continued Banks.
Jessica Anderson, Executive Director of Heritage Action said: “At a time when our cities are suffering waves of violence and riots, the far Left is abandoning our nation’s law enforcement and with it, our cities. It is time to return safety and security to our neighborhoods, support the police, and put a stop to the lawless anarchy.”
