Bedford Woman Cited On Marijuana Charges

(BEDFORD) – A Bedford woman was issued a summons to appear in court after Bedford Police officer stopped her vehicle Thursday for a traffic violation.

Police stopped Britney Hauk’s vehicle at 10:36 p.m. for having a improper tail light.

“While speaking with Haul she admitted to having a suspended license,” said Chief Terry Moore. “When asked by the officers if there was anything in the vehicle, she handed him a brown paper bag containing a green leafy substance that tested positive for marijuana.”

Hauk was issued a summons to appear in court on a charge of possession of marijuana and issued citations for an improper tail light and driving while driver’s license suspended.
