Bedford Housing Authority Hires Gary Butler As Lead Maintenance Coordinator

(BEDFORD) – On Thursday afternoon, the Bedford Housing Authority hired Gary Butler as lead maintenance coordinator. His first day on the job will be August 24th.

Butler has worked for the same construction company for the last 20 years, and was a supervisor for a maintenance crew.

Butler was hired following the announcement of the retirement of Randy Srygley who has worked for the Bedford Housing Authority for more than 20 years.

In other business:

The Duke Energy lighting project is now complete at the Hauck House. LED energy lighting was placed throughout the Hauck House at a cost of $17,855. Bedford Housing Authority only had to pay $3,891 for the project.

Building 17 project at Hamilton Courts is entering into its final stage and will be completed shortly.
