(BEDFORD) – A Bedford man was arrested Sunday afternoon after a Bedford Police officer stopped his vehicle.
Police arrested 52-year-old Ronald Sons on charges of operating a vehicle while intoxicated on a controlled substance, OWI endangerment, possession of meth, cocaine, and marijuana.
“After speaking with Sons he showed the usual signs of being intoxicated and was offered field sobriety tests,” said Chief Terry Moore. “Sons performed poorly on all three tests and agreed to a chemical test. Afterward, he was arrested and transported to jail.”
While inventorying his vehicle officers located two firearms and substances identified as methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
