Seymour Man Arrested On Charges Of Dealing Meth

(SEYMOUR) – On Friday, as a result of an ongoing investigation, investigators and patrol officers with the Seymour Police Department arrested 35-year-old Benjamin C. Wheeler, of Seymour, for dealing in methamphetamine, a level 5 felony.

When Wheeler was taken into custody, investigators also located marijuana on his person and learned that Wheeler was wanted on a Jackson County warrant for a probation violation.

A level 5 felony carries a penalty upon conviction of a fixed term between 1 year and 6 years in prison, and a fine up to $10,000. The investigation is ongoing.
