  • 8:41 a.m. Report of a burglary in the 1200 block of Orchard Street. Someone entered a building and stole copper. Police will make extra patrols

  • 9:21 a.m. 911 call hang up from an unknown location
  • 9:40 a.m. A person was on station to report a theft of a firearm from a camper in the 2520 block of Fort Ritner Road 
  • 9:47 a.m. 911 call from Monroe County. The Monroe County Sheriff’s Department was alerted
  • 10:30 a.m. Juvenile problem at Sixth and Warren streets. Two small children, a 1-year-old and a possible 2 or 3 year old are walking around the area. They are currently at the post office being watched by the staff. Their mother was located. The children unlocked the door while she was taking a shower

  • 2:09 p.m. Request for a welfare check at Rulers on Main Street in Mitchell. A male is acting strangely and jumping up and down waving down traffic. He is now sitting on a bench in front of the old Ruler’s building with his sweatshirt on his head
  • 2:11 p.m. An officer is requested to transport a male to IU Health Bloomington Hospital 
  • 2:40 p.m. Theft reported at Mitchell Manor. Police say 30 packs of drugs have ended up missing
  • 2:40 p.m. Controlled fire in the 550 block of Patton Hill Road
  • 3:03 p.m. Request for animal control to the 320 block of Rariden Hill Road. A kitten and a raccoon was caught in a trap
  • 3:14 p. M. 911 call in the 280 block of Judah Logan Road. It was an accidental call
  • 3:42 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 380 block of Hillcrest Way. A female is leaving the store with a baby and she looks like she is high or intoxicated. The female is driving a silver bluish G6. The female left and is traveling westbound on Old State Road 37. Police were unable to locate the vehicle
  • 3:46 p.m. Domestic fight on State Road 37 near Avoca. A female is out of the vehicle. A K9 alerted to possible drugs in the vehicle
  • 4:27 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 70 block of Rainmaker Road. The caller reported his neighbor is stealing his trailer hitch after it slid off his truck when he was leaving his driveway and his neighbor picked it up out of the roadway and is refusing to return it
  • 4:52 p.m. 911 call hang up at Tunnelton and Vinegar Hill roads. Police were unable to find a problem
  • 4:52 p.m. 911 call hang up in the 120 block of Middle Leesville Road. It was an accidental call

  • 6:12 p.m. Citizen dispute in the 80 block of Maddox Lane. A 15-year-old is driving a lawnmower with a trailer on it with several kids riding in it through her yard and the parents are standing outside watching. The neighbor was advised to stay off the property and a no-trespass order was served
  • 6:29 p.m. A syringe was found in the 720 block of West Warren Street. Police disposed of the syringe

  • 9:47 p.m. Citizen assist in the 1110 block of Tulip Street. The caller says she heard a whistle coming from north of her and maybe it was a “rape whistle” and would like an officer to check it out

  • 10:10 p.m. 911 call in the 2810 block of Stonington Road. The caller was wanting help retrieving a key and then hung up

  • 10:57 p.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of 12th Street. The caller reported a bunch of children is playing basketball at the church ball court
