Roberta Jean Medlock, 71, passed away on Monday, May 11, 2020, at IU Health Hospice House Bloomington.
Born August 5, 1948, in Lawrence County, she was the daughter Roy Riggs Jr. and Dorothy Jean (Wampler) Riggs.
She worked in computer security and privacy. Roberta was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and Sherwood Oaks Community Church in Bedford. She was an Auxiliary member of the American Legion and enjoyed needlecraft.
Survivors include her mother, Dorothy; two sons, John David (Traci) Medlock and Zachary James Medlock; sister, Patricia (Roger) Scott; uncle, Louis Wampler; aunt, Joan Rosenberger; as well as several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father, Roy Riggs Jr.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church or Sherwood Oaks Community Church, Bedford in memory of Roberta.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
