Relief Funding Available For Indiana Humanities Organizations

(UNDATED) – Applications are now open for Indiana Humanities CARES Grants, which are designed to distribute funding relief to nonprofit organizations that provide public humanities programming and have faced financial hardship during the current COVID-19 pandemic. More than $500,000 will be awarded to Indiana humanities organizations.

The general operating support grants range from $5,000 to $15,000, depending on the size of the organization’s budget. No matching is required.

Nonprofit organizations registered in Indiana that provide strong humanities programming are eligible. This includes libraries, archives, historical sites and homes, historical societies, heritage organizations and museums. Religious organizations, government organizations, K-12 schools, colleges, universities and individuals are ineligible.

Applicants will need to provide their most recent Form 990 and their current fiscal year budget. A DUNS number is also required in order to receive funds.
