(BEDFORD) – As National Volunteer Appreciation Week winds down, Lawrence County 4-H and Youth Development Extension Director Lesley Lodmell wanted to send a note to each volunteer.
“Lawrence County 4-H appreciates your support more than we can say,'” she added. “You make supporting our 583 4-H members possible. Every task you do for 4-H helps make the program stronger and a better environment for our youth.”
COVID-19 has made this 4-H year difficult and many of the volunteers and leaders have not hesitated to remain connected with 4-H members to help them practice resilience.
This weekend, volunteers were sent two videos from some Junior Leaders expressing their appreciation.
“This is a small representation of the good you each do, and you deserve thanks many times over,” Lodmell said.
