(GREENE CO.) – A community group has stepped up and awarded the Greene County General Hospital with critical personal protective equipment (PPE).
The Greene County Foundation has helped the hospital secure two grants to cover the cost of PPE.
Officals say PPE prices have gone up due to the increased demand.
The hospital’s foundation director said the estimated cost was $21,000 for masks, gloves, gowns, and similar items.
