Orleans Town Hall Closed Until April 5th

(ORLEANS) – In the interest of the health and well-being of the Orleans community, the Orleans Town Hall/Clerk’s Office will be CLOSED to the public beginning today, March 16th, and continuing through April 5th.

“We will still be staffed during regular business hours to take phone calls (812-865-2539) and will be processing payments via mail and the dropbox,” said Town Clerk Robert Henderson.

Water bills can be paid via regular mail, over the Internet or via and 24/7 via phone, on-line (credit and debit cards) or call 1-866-480-8552.

A link has also been provided on the town’s website to pay your water bill online that directs users to the PayGov site for processing payments.

“We will be suspending penalties and disconnects until at least April 5. We will revisit the decision on April 6th,” Henderson added. “All activities scheduled for the town’s community room have been cancelled for the time being. It is a challenging time, and we look forward to brighter days.  We appreciate your understanding and patience during this time of uncertainty.”
