(BEDFORD) – Firefighters with Shawswick and Marion Township Volunteer Fire Departments are currently battling a mobile home fire in the 1100 Sheridan Drive in Pride Estates mobile home park.
An AMR ambulance is also on the scene.
The mobile home is owned by Phil Thorne. Carla Fleener was renting the trailer. She arrived home to see smoke billowing from the trailer and rushed inside to make sure her children were not inside.
Fleener told WBIW her 5-year-old son was playing with a lighter and set some clothes on fire. The family has lived in the trailer for about a year.
