(BLOOMINGTON) – The Bloomington Amateur Radio Club meeting on Friday, March 6th will feature the multimedia program, Storm Spotter Training, presented by experts from the National Weather Service, Indianapolis Office.
This free training will include interpretation of cloud structures and radar images associated with severe weather.
This annual event draws large crowds, so attendees may want to arrive at 6:50 p.m. The meeting runs from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. in Bloomington City Hall Council Chambers (Room 115) at the Showers Building on 401 N Morton Street.
The public is invited and will use the southeast entrance of City Hall. Parking is free.
Trained Amateur Radio operators assist with storm spotting whenever needed.
