(OWENSBURG) – The Center – Jackson Fire Territory responded to a fire in Owensburg that left one person dead.
Firefighters and emergency crews responded to the scene around 1:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve.
The first fire units arrived within four minutes of the call. Once the fire was out, a body was discovered.
The Greene County Sheriff’s Department and Indiana State Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating.
