Worthington Looking for New Town Marshal

(WORTHINGTON) – The Town of Worthington is looking for a new town marshal.

Worthington Town Marshal Randy Raney resigned from his post effective t midnight tonight and the Worthington Town Council is accepting applications.

Deputy Marshal Russell Walls has been appointed as interim town marshal.

Marshal Raney was suspended with pay by in October. According to the town officials, the reason for Raney’s suspension is not a matter of public record.

The Council is now accepting applications for the position of town marshal. The council hopes to have a new town marshal in place by the first of the year.
