Shirley C. Williams, 83, of Oolitic, died Wednesday, October 23, 2019, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.
Born October 28, 1935, in Daviess Co., she was the daughter of Elza and Mary (Thomas) Roach. She retired as an assembler for Thomson Consumer Electronics after thirty-three years.
Survivors include a daughter, Lisa Carol Owens, of Virginia; a son-in-law, Cleavon Parker of Bedford; three grandsons; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Ronnie Roach, of Arkansas; a sister, Judith Figg, of Ellettsville; two sisters-in-law, Brabara Roach, of Springville, and Darlene Roach of McCordsville.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Tim Williams; a daughter, Catherine Parker; two brothers, Donald Roach and Norman Roach; a grandson, Michael Hanks; a son-in-law, Roger Inman.
A memorial service will be conducted at 2 p.m. on Friday, November 15th in the Elmwood Chapel of the Day & Carter Mortuary with Pastor Gary Thomas officiating.
