(BEDFORD) – The Bloomington Police Department searched a garbage truck due to concerns of a red liquid dripping from it.
According to Ryan Pedigo Detective with the Bloomington Police Department this morning around 8:40 a.m. officers responded to College Mall Apartments at 2615 East Second Street regarding a trash truck with an unknown liquid dripping from it.
The scene was taped off and photographed. Investigators then followed the trash truck to a nearby facility where the truck was emptied of its contents and they began to determine the source of the liquid. Numerous food containers were unloaded. No human bodies or animals were located.
“Police determined that the liquid probably originated from containers in the truck,” Pedigo stated.
