Kowalski Auto Parts City Recognized for Environmental Stewardship

(INDIANAPOLIS) –The Indiana Department of Environmental Management (IDEM) awarded Kowalski Auto Parts City with its fourth “Indiana Clean Yard” certification in recognition of the company’s efforts to protect the environment. The facility is located at 25958 Western Avenue/State Rd 2, South Bend, Ind.

The Indiana Clean Yard program was established in 2009 as a collaborative effort by IDEM and the Automotive Recyclers of Indiana to decrease environmental threats posed by vehicles stockpiled in salvage yards.
