  • 5:14 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 and Elrod Lane. A fawn had been hit by a vehicle and is still alive in the roadway 
  • 5:30 a.m. Report of a suspicious person in the 1290 block of Church Camp Road. A male in a dark jacket with a dog is walking through people’s yards. A second male wearing dark clothing was near the intersection. Police stopped the males at Sunnydale Drive
  • 5:52 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Old Brisco Mobile Home sales. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 7:02 a.m. Report of vandalism in the 140 block of Dale Street. The caller’s house had been egged
  • 7:05 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Springville Elementary
  • 7:11 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Needmore Elementary
  • 7:15 a.m. Request for animal control to the 1760 block of Hayes Road for a pit bull running loose
  • 7:29 a.m. Deputies made extra patrols at Dollens Elementary
  • 8:22 a.m. Officers were out with a person at State Road 37, south of Trodgon Lane. The male was given a ride to Green Hill Addition
  • 9:02 a.m. A person was on station to report the theft of a handgun
  • 9:22 a.m. Request for animal control in the 1630 block of Old State Road 60 for two dogs on the caller’s property. Two dogs a great Dane and French bulldog were taken to the shelter
  • 9:30 a.m. Medical emergency in the 3010 block of Illinois Street. An 82-year-old female fell
  • 9:43 a.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 2480 block of Old State Road 37.
  • 9:50 a.m. Tree and powerlines down in the roadway in the 220 block of Fayetteville Coxton Road
  • 9:57 a.m. Traffic stop at Old State Road 37 near the dumpster
  • 10:10 a.m. Officers were out at Boots and Bows on Teke Burton Drive
  • 10:36 a.m. Report of threats made in the 370 block of Boyd Lane. A woman is threatening to kill the caller. A female was arrested and removed from the home
  • 10:44 a.m. Officers responded to a home in the 520 block of Patton Hill Road after a report of a 15-year-old male shooting a weapon in the yard and playing inappropriate music very loudly
  • 11:33 a.m. Report of an unwanted person in the 1130 block of West Main Street in Mitchell. A female is standing outside of a home and yelling obscenities
  • 11:42 a.m. 911 call from a female at the vet clinic saying they are being aggressive with her and needs an officer. Bedford Police was alerted
  • 12:01 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1300 block of K Street. An 80-year-old female fell
  • 12:04 p.m. A person was on station to report the theft of horses. Police say it is a civil issue
  • 12:53 p.m. A resident in the 40 block of Davis Drive reported a neighbor has so many dogs, and they are running loose and barking continuously. Other neighbors have had problems with the dogs being aggressive
  • 12:54 p.m. Agency assist with the Department of Child Services in the 1820 block of Stonington Road to remove a child from the home
  • 1:09 p.m. Report of an unknown issue in the 900 block of Hoosier Avenue
  • 2:18 p.m. Report of an abandoned vehicle in the 80 block of North Street
  • 2:27 p.m. IU Health Walk-in Clinic reports treating a person who was bitten by two barn cats in the 140 block of Maple Leaf Road
  • 2:45 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1160 block of Camelot Courts. A 52-year-old was having a seizure
  • 3:04 p.m. Traffic hazard at State Road 37 and State Road 54 West. A white vehicle is broke down in the turn lane
  • 3:10 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a blue car northbound on State Road 60 East
  • 3:21 p.m. Report of a noise complaint in the 520 block of Patton Hill Road. A neighbor is playing loud, vulgar music
  • 3:33 p.m. A brown semi has hit several powerlines while traveling eastbound on State Road 54 from Springville. The vehicle was stopped at the Avoca Mini Mart. No damage was found
  • 4:01 p.m. Follow up investigation in the 710 block of Noe Road. Stolen items were returned to the owner
  • 4:10 p.m. Disabled vehicle at State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane. Officers assisted with changing a flat tire
  • 4:19 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a red truck southbound on State Road 37 from Monroe County
  • 4:29 p.m. Traffic stop at Tulip Lane and Springville Judah Road
  • 5 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4280 block of Leesville Road. The caller’s 15-year-old brother was involved in an altercation with his father. The teen was taken to the police station, and probation and the Department of Child Services were contacted. The teen was placed in the care of a neighbor
  • 5:18 p.m. Medical emergency in the 680 block of Davey Cox Road. An 86-year-old female was ill
  • 5:24 p.m. Lawrence County Probation reports finding drug paraphernalia at a home in the 170 block of Mundell Estates. They request a K-9 go through the home
  • 5:24 p.m. Report of a donkey in the roadway in the 7020 block of State Road 60 West
  • 6:01 p.m. Medical emergency at Persimmon Park Apartments. A 56-year-old male was having trouble breathing
  • 6:06 p.m. Report of an erratic driver on a motorcycle wearing a white helmet at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road
  • 6:07 p.m. Report of an erratic driver in a silver Chevrolet northbound on State Road 37 from Wilkins Way. The male driver appears to be screaming at someone inside the vehicle and reaching over and hitting someone
  • 6:23 p.m. Reports of chunks of a tree in the roadway in the 3390 block of State Road 60 East between Spring Mill State Park and Lawrenceport Road
  • 7:03 p.m. Noise complaint in the 510 block of Patton Hill Road. The neighbor’s teenage son is playing loud music. The caller believes he is doing it in retaliation for calling police. The caller was told to attend a commissioners meeting because there is no noise ordinance
  • 7:12 p.m. Domestic fight in the 4280 block of Leesville Road. The entire town of Leesville can hear it
  • 7:47 p.m. Disabled vehicle on State Road 37 near the Sinclair station
  • 8:04 p.m. Request for a welfare check in the 70 block of Treslar Street. The person was fine
  • 8:29 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Oolitic light
  • 8:45 p.m. Controlled fire in the 220 block of West Hancock Avenue
  • 8:50 p.m. Officers made extra patrols in the 2480 block of Old State Road 37
  • 9:18 p.m. Traffic stop at Old State Road 37, north of the trash compactors
  • 9:25 p.m. Traffic stop at 18th and J streets
  • 9:29 p.m. 911 call in the 6060 block of State Road 60 West and then the call was disconnected. Police went to the home, and everything was ok
  • 9:34 p.m. EMS was requested to standby for Orange County. Then dispatched to the 400 block of Southeast First Street
  • 9:34 p.m. A male caller saying he received a call from his brother wanting to know if he could use his name if he is pulled over. The caller is unsure what kind of vehicle his brother would be driving. The brother said he was looking for a vehicle that was broken down on the side of the road. The caller says his brother will be coming from the Bedford area and going to Mitchell
  • 9:54 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 West at CVS
  • 9:55 p.m. EMS was asked to stand by for Orange County
  • 9:57 p.m. Traffic stop at Patrick Robbins Way and Plaza Drive
  • 10:09 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road
  • 10:14 p.m. Traffic stop at the Avoca Mini Mart
  • 10:28 p.m. Report of a male rolling around in a yard in the 400 block of South East First Street in Paoli. The male is possibly intoxicated. Paoli police were alerted
  • 10:29 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 60 East at the railroad tracks
  • 10:22 p.m. Large tree in the roadway in the 3120 block of Kings Ridge Road
  • 10:45 p.m. Domestic fight in the 68840 block of US 50 East. A caller reported a male is beating on a female. A male was arrested
  • 11:03 p.m. Traffic stop at Sinclair station
  • 11:16 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Tower Road
  • 11:20 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 at the Sinclair station
  • 11:26 p.m. Request for a welfare check at US 50 and State Road 60. A grey minivan was at the side of the road, and all the doors were open, and no lights were on in the van. The male was ok

  • 6:51 p.m. Property damage accident in the 9540 block of State Road 37 behind the building
  • 4:24 p.m. Property damage accident at Bishop Boulevard and North 8th Street in Mitchell. The driver reported they hit a utility pole
