  • 2:30 a.m. Randy Cheatham, 57, 1906 16th St., possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia, wanted on warrants for theft and burglary

  • 8:15 p.m. Alicia Godsey, 34, 2504 J St., possession of meth, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia
  • 8:15 p.m. Jeffrey Bundy, 33, 1140 Art Gallery Rd., public intoxication, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia
  • 8:15 p.m. Crystal True, 40, 4222 S. Leatherwood Rd., public intoxication, possession of a handgun without a permit, possession of a handgun with an obliteration serial number, possession of meth and drug paraphernalia

  • 8:33 p.m. A resident reported threats in the 610 block of W Street
  • 8:15 p.m. Report of possible drug activity at Goodwill. Three people were arrested
  • 7:46 p.m. Criminal mischief in the 1550 block of Third Street
  • 7:18 p.m. Agency assist at State Road 37 and Dixie Highway
  • 6:47 p.m. Medical emergency at Westview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded
  • 6:35 p.m. Juvenile problem at 15th and T streets
  • 5:59 p.m. Possible drug activity in the 310 block of Shawnee Lane. Brandon Yother, 43, of Bedford has issued a summons to appear in court on charges of possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia

  • 5:30 p.m. Juveniles causing a disturbance at Hoosier Hills Credit Union
  • 5:10 p.m. A resident in the 1800 block of 15th Street reported fraud

  • 3:03 p.m. Officers were out with a person at 15th and R streets

  • 10:18 p.m. Juvenile problem in the 1700 block of 15th Street
  • 9:32 p.m. Report of a possible overdose in the 3400 block of Washington Avenue. A male was arrested
  • 9:32 p.m. Medical emergency in the 1920 block of Plaza Drive. An IU Health Hospital ambulance responded

  • 10 p.m. Noah Ford, 19, 1656 Vinegar Hill Rd., wanted on a warrant for failure to appear

Incidents – June 25

  • 5:48 a.m. Domestic fight in the 1100 block of Sheridan Drive. The male has left. The female says her ex was upset because he thought he was watching the kids this morning and found she had a babysitter
  • 6:48 a.m. A resident reported her mother’s neighbor in the 1200 block of West Warren Street have been fighting and causing problems and would like to speak to an officer
  • 8:05 a.m. Report of criminal mischief to the speed limit sign on Stars Boulevard
  • 8:31 a.m. A resident in the 2760 block of North County Road 925 West requested animal control to pickup a skinny stray dog near the road. Animal Control can not pick up dogs located outside of Lawrence County. The caller says she will find another way to get the dog to the shelter
  • 9:30 a.m. A resident in the 210 block of Second Street in Mitchell reported her neighbor in her duplex has a no trespassing order against her and has put up a fence around her mailbox so she is unable to get her mail and she is requesting to speak to an officer
  • 9:41 a.m. A female from the 170 block of Sipes Branch Road was on station to report her sister had battered her
  • 10:49 a.m. A resident in the 1090 block of Indian Creek Road was on station requesting to speak to an officer about recycling catalytic converters for scrap. He says one scrap yard would not take them. The man was told to check with Goodman’s Recycling
  • 10:51 a.m. Report of an erratic driver in a white Nissan at State Road 37 at the Judah junction
  • 11:51 a.m. Traffic stop at Fifth and N streets
  • 12:06 p.m. Follow-up investigation at Ace Pawn Shop. A victim retrieved a wedding set and another ring from the store
  • 12:12 p.m. Report that a jail officer was slapped in the face by an inmate. A battery report was filed
  • 1:33 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 1200 block of Elm Park
  • 4:24 p.m. Traffic stop at Springville Judah Road, west of State Road 37
  • 4:32 p.m. Traffic stop on Old State Road 60 West and State Road West 00 06/25/19
  • 5:03 p.m. Request for extra patrols in the 5650 block of US 50 East after a report of people going through the dumpsters at night
  • 5:35 p.m. Traffic stop at 13th and West Brook streets
  • 5:36 p.m. Report of possible drug deal happening at the Mitchell baseball diamond
  • 5:39 p.m. A resident in the 100 block of East Grissom Avenue reported a female was speeding down the road in her vehicle and almost hit her child
  • 5:54 p.m. A male in the 360 block of Shawswick School Road his grandson has been making threats
  • 6:32 p.m. Report of a gas leak in the 430 block of Hoosier Avenue. Police found no issue
  • 6:40 p.m A resident in Springville reported she lost her German Shepherd and was wearing a pink Rural King collar. The dog’s name is Maple and she is friendly
  • 6:47 p.m. Traffic stop at Stove Road and US 50 East
  • 6:59 p.m. 911 call reporting State Road 37 at County Road 330 West at the county line. A male was laying in the road and appears to have been hit while riding his bicycle
  • 7:33 p.m. Traffic stop at Dixie Highway and US 50 West at the back entrance of the dealership. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 7:54 p.m. Traffic stop at Dixie Highway and Fortner Lane. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 7:59 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Patton Hill Road. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 8:12 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and State Road 54. A citation was issued for a seat belt violation
  • 8:14 p.m. Traffic stop in the 300 block of Hoosier Avenue
  • 8:27 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Hancock Avenue. A citation was issued for speeding
  • 8:39 p.m. Traffic stop at Vista Drive and Patton Hill Road
  • 8:58 p.m. Report of children in the roadway at 8th and J streets
  • 10:52 p.m. Report of a mattress in the roadway at US 50 West and Shawswick School Road
  • 10:55 p.m. A person was on station to report a runaway in the 550 block of Erie Church Road. The male teen came on station to turn himself in
  • 11:08 p.m. Traffic stop at East Boyd Lane and US 50 East
  • 11:23 p.m. 911 call from a resident in the 800 block of Limestone Run Road reported someone was banging on the window and sounds like someone is attempting to break in. Police could not find anyone on the property
  • 11:48 p.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Salt Creek bridge
  • 11:50 p.m. Deputies made extra patrols at the Dollar General Store on US 50 East

  • 12:11 a.m. Traffic stop at State Road 37 and Trogdon Lane
  • 12:16 p.m. Report of an ill inmate at the Jail. The inmate was suffering left side numbness and transported to the hospital
  • 2:48 p.m. Report of a suspicious person at State Road 450 and Stumphole Bridge Road. There are two cars with flashers on and 10 Hispanic males at the vehicle and they do not speak English. The caller is not sure what is going on
